In collaboration with Arnolfini, the festival will enfold on the 13th of November, from 4.00-10.30pm, throughout the 2&lt;/span&gt;&lt;sup&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt;nd&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/sup&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt; floor and café/bar. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:black;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt;Drawing upon the theme of ‘Transient Living’, Y&amp;amp;YW8 will present an exciting mix of contemporary live performance, intervention, installation, live music and space for discussion.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:black;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt;The festival will showcase four local community-based art projects, commissioned in partnership between Y&amp;amp;YW, Arnolfini and Groundwork South West, alongside five additional selected performance works, from highly talented emerging artists. This is a series of highly personal video works, which explore key identity shifts during the ageing process. An additional discussion about the project with the artist and participants, will take place at 4.45pm. At the beginning of the project, the artists will build a Currah (a small fishing vessel made from willow and hide) in the Bristol boat yard, to travel across the marina and meet local boat dwellers.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:black;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt;Liz Clarke 'Sedimentary'&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:black;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt;Commissioned live artist, Liz Clarke with participants from 1625 Independent People (a youth housing project), will be presenting performances, interventions and provocations with opportunity for interaction and debate. The work will be a culmination of a process exploring ‘Identity and the Individual’ and ‘Ownership of Spaces’.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:black;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt;Rhiannon Chaloner 'Civis Europeus Sum'&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:black;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt;Commissioned visual artist and performer, Rhiannon Chaloner along with four members of the Bristol Roma community, will be presenting a short film/video which explores the permeability of cultural traditions, travelling and ‘making home’. An additional discussion about the project with the artist and participants, will take place at 5.15pm.
